Ice Skating

We went ice skating for the first time and it was so fun. I am the only one who has ever ice skated, so I sat out with Chase and took some pictures while lending support. The kids did so well! And Ed was awesome too. We prepped them up front and explained "You are going to fall ALOT. Just laugh, get up and try again!". I was very proud of them. Cole was brave enough to try without holding on to the wall. Chase was the only one upset because he couldn't do it too. But a highlight was we all got to watch the Zamboni! I took these pics with my phone so they are not great quality, but you can get an idea of the fun!

Secret Santa

Ed got a gift delivered to our house last week. As you can see from the picture he really enjoyed his "Very Important Prize". The sender was a secret, but we think his employees from Oregon sent it.

These are just pictures of the kids taken yesterday. They were dressed for church services (except for Chase who has been fighting a stomach bug). They are growing so quickly!

Sneak Peek of Quincy's show...

Next week Quincy will preform with her dance class in the The Littlest Nutcracker. She and her 3 classmates are "mice". These are pics from her dress rehearsal. It is going to be soooo cute!

Thanksgiving 2008

We had an awesome Thanksgiving with family and friends (9 adults and 6 kids). We definitely missed all of our kin-folk who were far away from us. All of the pictures taken at an angle where they're looking up were taken by Quincy.

Our recent family pictures

Here are some of our newest formal pictures.

Grandma's birthday

We had a fun family day to celebrate Grandma's birthday. Drew & Quincy gave her homemade gifts and a family friend gave her a collage that we filled with pictures of the grandkids.

Halloween

We had a busy and fun-filled day. Drew & Quincy got to dress up for school and had class parties. I got to attend Quincy's and Ed attended Drew's. Cole & Chase got spoiled at both. Then we had a party in Folsom with all of our church friends. After that craziness, we went trick-or-treating and got a huge load of candy. The day ended and everyone was beat.

Dumbo (Chase) Spiderman (Cole) Hannah Montana (Quincy) and Clone-Trooper (Drew). It looks like there's a 5th child but that's just a witch that stands in our entryway.

Chase, do your eyes.

OK, this may be one of those things that only parents think is funny. You've been warned. All you have to do is say to him, "Chase, do your eyes." and this is what he does...on command...every time. I know he looks a little possessed, but it's pretty cute. My mom swears this is incredible eye control for such a young child. Leave it to a grandma to make a trick look like a "gift"! :-)
